“Hands down my favorite way to spend one or more days in the US Virgin
Islands. Whatever you feel like doing, sailing, snorkeling, or island
hopping, Captain Joe will take care of all the details and show you a day
to remember. As you depart American Yacht Harbor and set sail you will
feel the cares of your everyday life slipping away. Captain Joe and crew
always stock Scubadu with icy cold beverages. No trip would be complete
if you don't sample some of Joe's gourmet cooking. If you book a day trip,
sunset sail or dinner sail you will be lucky enough to enjoy some of his
culinary treats.”

“We rented the Scubadu for the day including the sunset cruise as part of
our 25th anniversary. We had the best snorkeling of our visit. The captain
and crew were great along with very good food and drinks.”

“Simply the best day of our vacation. This guy specializes in small
groups....not overcrowded boats. We did a day sail with 6 of us....4
adults, one 12 year old, and a 18 month old.
The day was amazing...we sailed out of Redhook to St. John...relaxed,
snorkeled, had a great lunch...just our small group.
We will be booking Scubadu on our next trip....amazing!”

"What time is it? It was the time of our lives! We couldn't have asked for a better day to relax
and to enjoy ourselves on a smooth sail around St. John."

“My wife and I honey mooned on St John 17 years ago and have been back several times but have never chartered a boat. This vacation however, we really wanted truly experience the island with our family, especially for my 8 year old daughter. We wanted to snorkel and get to places that you simply can't get to my car. After a thorough search of the island activities we came across Capt. Joe and Scubadu. The website site look good. Promises of gourmet food, along with fantastic site seeing and a family atmosphere got us to book with Scuabdu!. We chartered an all day cruise with a sunset cruise option. THE TRIP WAS FANTASTIC!!!
Captain Joe and hit first mate Brenda were warm, informative and
gracious hosts. They took us to snorkeling sites that were right out of the
pages of National Geographic magazine. The food was spectacular (we
had grilled chicken Caesar salad). The best part however was the shrimp "Escarjoes". If you get to St John and would like to see if from a local
perspective.... in luxury and mixed with warm southern hospitality... this
is the only way to go. I simply can't wait to get back to St. John. and..
when I do I am looking up Scubadu”

“On vacation we booked Scubadu for the day. It was the highlight of our
vacation. We were picked up, pampered, waited on, given the tour of
some islands and went snorkeling. Joe made lunch for us and it was so
good. If we ever go back, we will book another day or two with Joe on the
Scubadu. We had the best time and he treated us like we were family. It
was great!”

“Last April, a group of our high school classmates took a Princess cruise to
celebrate our 35 reunion. Instead of taking a snorkel excursion planned
by the cruise line, we searched to charter our own snorkel/sail day trip. I
found Scubadu on the web and arranged the sail for 10 people. The sail
was fabulous. Everything on their website was true. We were provided
lots of choices in drinks, and served whenever we requested anything.
Our lunch was fish tacos and was wonderful. The boat is very roomy for
10 people....lots of room to sunbath in the front, but also offered shade in
the back. They took us to 2 different snorkel sights, which were very
good. Everything was very timely. The Captain had a taxi/van pick us up
at cruise pier, and also had it waiting for us when we were done. Probably
the only thing I would say was expensive about the whole trip was the
cost of the taxi ($20 per person each way), but I guess that is an island
thing....they all cost that much. The price Scubadu charged was $150 per
person for approximately 6 hour sail, and I thought it was very
reasonable. I checked some other boats, many could only handle 6 people
and charged $1200 for a day cruise. I would sail this boat again in a
heartbeat!”
